As of 12:46 p.m., more than 2,000 people were without power in the region.
In Montgomery County, AES Ohio had 1,882 customers without service, according to the outage map. Large outages were reported near Cornell Heights and Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark in Dayton, the Rip Rad and Chambersburg roads area in Vandalia and Huber Heights and south of Carriage Hill MetroPark on Friday.
There were reports of traffic lights being out on Wayne Avenue. A franchise restaurant Wendyâs at Wayne Avenue and Wyoming Street was without power, according to reports.
